Benxi Iron and Steel ( Group) Co. , Ltd. , Benxi 11 000, Liaon ing, Ch ina) Abstract: The hydrau lic modle of refin ing LF argon blow ing of Benxi Iron and steel Co. w as simulated, the effects of optim ization argon blow ing method on m ixing time ofmolten steel w as studied at the same tim e. In addition, the influence of quantities of gas supply on m ixing tim e of molten steel and inclusion w as investigated. The results show tha:t the optim ization argon blow ing method can be gained besides the electrode collar area, w hich is the position of present ladle argon blow ing.
