Mitsubishi Materials is one of the few tool manufacturer’s producing it’s own sintered CBN for use in CBN tools. The original CBN material, honing, brazing and other technologies translates to CBN inserts that are especially effective for efficient, high speed and accurate machining of hardened steels, cast irons and sintered metal. y Features Features of sintered CBN • CBN tool material is produced by mixing the primary component CBN (cubic boron nitride), which has a hardness second only to diamond, with a special ceramic or metal binder.
