聚烯烃的热氧化性能（Thermal oxidation properties of polyolefins） Chien and Kiang, [1, 2] were oxidized to polypropylene (PP) in the temperature range from 240 to 289. The products were separated by gas chromatography and identified on-line by gas chromatography identification system. The main products of thermal oxidative decomposition of polypropylene are CO2, H2O, acetaldehyde, acetone, butanol, formaldehyde, methanol, and other ketones and aldehydes. Most of the products are produced by the reactions of the well-known alkoxy radicals and peroxy radicals. The main products are derived from the secondary products of alkoxy and peroxy radicals. It has been proved that in the limited diffusion products of paraffin and diene, oxygen is poor, while in pure oxygen atmosphere, the formation of CO2 and H2O increases. The primary reaction rate at 240 DEG C is 2.4 * 10-3s-1, and the overall activation energy is about 16kcal/mol (67kJ/mol).
