The development strategy, standardization, progress, latest technology and products, market operation and so on of 3G have attracted much attention. This paper briefly introduces the third generation mobile communication and its system principle, and summarizes the wireless transmission technology scheme of IMT-2000 system, mainly introduces the related principle of CDMA2000 system. This paper is divided into four parts, the first part of the mobile communication is introduced and a review of the three generation mobile communication development course; the second part began to formally introduce the third generation mobile communication system, including the basic system model, the characteristics of 3G, which is different from the second generation mobile communication requirements and to the construction of 3G to achieve the goal; the third part introduces the core technology of 3G technology, the standard scheme of wireless transmission technology, the first is the review of the national technical standards in 2000 have been proposed, and then summarizes the three main technical standards in the passage of the comparison mainly involves the three standards and their evolution between technical performance the fourth part; relates to the graduation design in the CDMA2000 system to study, has carried on the brief summary and taking CDMA2000 1x as an example to introduce the CDMA2000 system Finally, the typical system structure and the preliminary description of each module are given.
