And the soil water of the vegetation w as observed and analyzed. The results show as follow . The soil w ater storage of woodland and grassland is the least;that of farmland and shrub is more;the w ater consum ption of shrub is less than bar-e land and w asteland in observation period, then grassland, farmland and w oodland in turn;the degree of w ater compensation of shrub and grassland is higher, then is farmland, that of woodland is minus. And the results can be the science basis of choosing plantation to renew the vegetation in this district.
