建筑腻子组成及特点（Composition and characteristics of building putty） Composition, classification and characteristics of building putty In recent years, with the development of coating process and the improvement of coating requirements, putty has been paid more and more attention in coating engineering. Putty is the construction of coating, coating for grass-roots treatment of ancillary products. The basic function of putty is to fill the defects of the wall base, leveling the base, thereby increasing the level of the grass-roots level. The special function of putty is crack resistance and all kinds of decoration and molding. Putty must be compatible with the selected paint and coating requirements. Putty composition Putty usually consists of base materials, fillers, water and additives. Base material, also known as adhesive, is the most important component of putty, mainly from the bonding and other functions. The most commonly used binders are cement and organic polymers, and organic polymers consist of emulsions and latex powders. Cement is a good adhesive, durable and cost-effective adhesive, but tensile strength and crack resistance are poor. Organic polymers can be modified and toughened to improve the properties of putty. Organic polymer comprising styrene acrylic emulsion, EVA emulsion and pure acrylic emulsion, polyvinyl acetate emulsion (white latex) and EVA latex powder, also useful polyvinyl alcohol adhesive, polyvinyl formal (801 glue) and modified starch. Modified starch, polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl formal due to poor water resistance, residual formaldehyde content is too high to meet the requirements of environmental protection, is being phased out. Fillers mainly play the role of filling, commonly used calcium carbonate, talc and quartz sand. Attention should be paid to the use of filler fineness. Additives include thickening agents, water retaining agents, preservatives and so on. Thickening agents and water retaining agents play an important role in wa
