传染病防止法（Infectious disease prevention act） Adopted at the sixth meeting of the Standing Committee of the Seventh National Peoples Congress on February 21, 1989 Chapter I General Provisions Article 1 this law is enacted for the purpose of preventing, controlling and eliminating the occurrence and prevalence of infectious diseases and safeguarding the health of the human body.
