病原微生物实验室生物安全环境管理办法（Measures for the management of biological safety environment of pathogenic microorganisms Laboratory） Measures for the management of biological safety environment of pathogenic microorganisms Laboratory (promulgated by Decree No. thirty-second of the State Environmental Protection Administration on March 8, 2006 and effective as of May 1, 2006) Article 1 in order to regulate the pathogenic microbiology laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the laboratory) environmental management work of biological safety, according to the Regulations of laboratory biosafety of pathogenic microorganisms and the relevant laws and administrative regulations on environmental protection, these measures are formulated. Article second these Measures shall apply to the laboratory of biological safety and environmental management in laboratories and laboratories engaged in the activities of the peoples Republic of Peoples Republic of China. The term pathogenic microorganisms as mentioned in these Measures refers to microorganisms that can cause human or animal diseases. The term laboratory activities as mentioned in these Measures refers to such activities as research, teaching, testing and diagnosis relating to pathogens, bacteria (poisons) and samples. Third countries in accordance with the laboratory biosafety level of pathogenic microorganisms protection, and in accordance with national standards for biosafety laboratory, the laboratory is divided into one, two, three and four levels. Laboratories at grade one and grade two shall not engage in experimental activities of highly pathogenic microorganisms. Fourth, the State Environmental Protection Administration formulated and promulgated the laboratory pollution control standards, environmental management technical specifications and environmental supervision and inspection system.
