The results showed that Xianlinggubao capsule can significantly improve the bone density of rats with osteoporosis, increase bone mineral content of femur, and thus play the role of treatment of osteoporosis. The bone mineral density (BMD), dry femoral weight and bone calcium change were observed before and after the treatment. The results showed that XG could significantly improve BMD in osteoporosis rats. Increase femoral bone calcium content and thus play an important role in the treatment of osteoporosis.
