Adaptability Analysis of Nightscape Lighting Luminance of
Chinese Ancient Architecture in Urban Core Areas

Abstract
In this paper ，the research on subjective evaluation of ancient architecture lighting is carried out under
various simulated setting ，aiming to highlight the ancient buildings reasonably and adapt to luminous
suitability of city surrounding environment． It is based on the basic features of Chinese ancient architecture
and takes into account of illumination characteristics of nightscape lighting environment in urban core area．
The paper analyzes the carrier parts factors affecting night vision brightness of ancient architectures and
presents the reasonable threshold scope of luminance．
