Two Dimensions of the Formation of the “Artistic Conception ”

Abstract:“Artistic conception ”is the core category of Chinese ancient literature and aesthetics ，so fruitful a-
chievements have been made in the research on it． Based on the two dimensions of “language － meaning and “ob-
ject—context”，with the intermediary role of “image”，and under the condition of “emotion”，the paper discusses
how artistic conception in Chinese ancient literature formed．
