Features of Frost’s Poetry 2. Frost is a poet of nature, reflecting Wordsworthian and Emersonian influences. Nature appears as an explicator(诠释者) and a mediator (媒介) for man and serves as a center of reference for his behavior. Features of Frost’s Poetry 3. Frost is a man of modern outlook, keeping in step with the spirit of his times. To Frost, the difficulty is to maintain the will to order in a world of confusion and chaos.
