For one thing, it is widespread; probably everyone has struggled with it at on time or another. Second, it can damage relationships. When we are jealous of someone, we tend not to like him or her, although our bad feelings usually do not hurt the other person’s success. Third, when we are jealous of others, we tend to overlook what we already have, and therefore do not enjoy or use the blessings that we already have.
