This combination could effectively achieve the function of automatically current-sharing and current-limiting.Thus the level of both the rated current and short-circuit current of generator circuit breakers could be doubled.The working principle of the design was theoretically analyzed and simulated.Its feasibility w as also verified through dy- namic tests.Furthermore, an engineering implementation of this design was proposed referring to GIS(gas insula- tion switch)where the metal enclosure and gas insulation w ere applied.
