* For each of these requirements, the new models of the SurePOS 500 is doing the following: Make height lower ? both the height of the 12” and 15” models are lower than the previous models. Need a faster process ? The new models provide as standard a 2.0GHz Intel Celeron processor. Via special order a P4 at up to 2.8GHz can be ordered. Cabling is tight for hands ? With the new attractive form factor the room provided for connecting cables has been increased. Cables come disconnected ? Tie downs are provided so that the cables are held securely in place. Quality with resistive touch ? Infrared touch (which was previously used with the 4695 POS) has much better quality and is on all new models of the SurePOS 500. See detailed charts on Infrared touch later in this presentation for more details. Need a larger LCD ? The model 563 will offer both 12” and 15” LCDs. Too many screws to service ? The new models of the SurePOS 500 have half the number of screws than previous xx2 models. Want to reuse the trays ?
