China Telecom still have the monopoly of providing the network service throughout China, but, by analogy with what has happened in other countries, an enormous demand for cheap mobile phones and cheap service will probably cause China Telecom to lose its service monopoly. You should, therefore, be thinking in terms of setting up a network in China and not just selling telephone equipment.; There are some problem you will have to face. Mobile phone manufacturers in China now are constantly upgrading their models, makes them smaller, and even giving them the ability to send and receive fax and e-mail messages. You will need to provide all these facilities and more.
