Of course parents always care about our welfare and they want to be in charge of the children and exert a lot of interference as well. Sometimes parents seem to have a talent for embarrassing the children and exhausting their patience. But you can bet, overall, more often than not they are the right ones. When I was in junior middle school, I was very much distracted from study by a puppy-love affair, which kept my parents in suspense. To be frank, I regarded the affair with the boy, whose face has faded away now, as the living proof of glorious love which filled out my heart then, and the whole world was narrowed down to the two of us. My parents repeatedly asked what had come over me and said to me that I should know better than to totally neglect my study. But all I felt at that time was that they wanted to interrupt at any rate and they were in such unison that I kept dumb to them all the time and never swallowed a word they said to me. Those were days consisting of tension with no exception. Finally I realized my mistake and felt so thankful for their love and patience.
