Its lifetime is designed for 20 years. The pipe will not be corroded as long as the ICCP works. 外加电流系统分2个回路，保护回路和测量监控回路。保护回路是恒电位仪将直流电从正极送出，经辅助阳极、海水介质到达管道内壁，汇总在阴极接地回到恒电位仪的负极。 The impressed current includes 2 circuits. One is protection circuit and the other is used for measuring and monitoring. In the protection one, the direct current (DC) is from the positive pole to the negative pole of the constant potential rectifier. It passes auxiliary anode, seawater and the inside of pipes.
