Achievements His father was a successful composer and served as his first musical tutor. At the age of five, Mozart started writing classical music. He composed classical music and had his first piece of music published in 1964. He composed his first opera at the age of twelve in 1768. Mozart’s greatest musical success was The Marriage of Figaro. Don Giovanni, another successful opera he wrote in 1787. The Magic Flute, written in 1791, just before he died later the same year. Family In 1782, Mozart married Constanze Weber who was Germany.
