DYNACOLL? 7000 products are linear copolyesters with primary hydroxyl functionality and medium molecular weight. Our DYNACOLL? 7000 product line is designed as a building block system, allowing the tailormade production of reactive hot melts (RHM). Depending on their morphology and effects on the properties of RHM we have divided the product line into three basic groups: 3Compatibility Most DYNACOLL? 7000 copolyesters are compatible with each other. However partly incompatible, but miscible systems are necessary in many applications as well. The table on page 7 gives an overview of 1 : 1 copolyesters mixtures and their reaction products with MDI (OH : NCO = 1:2.2), based on visual evaluation after storing for 24 hours at 130 °C or 140 °C.
