Project: Chinatown Professor: Due: August 3st, 2011 Huiwen Tan （Shirley） Chinatown China has passed Japan becoming the second economic of the world. And there are many Chinese live abroad from many years until now. The place where Chinese live together and shared all kinds of resources in other countries, we called Chinatown. Based on the history reason, Chinatown is common in South-East Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. Chinatown has already become a special culture in many different countries. Many years ago, many Chinese come to other countries with different purposes. Some of them want to change another life. Some of them want to make money in other countries. Some of them just want to avoid the war what happened in China’s mainland. However they find it is not easy to involve into a different culture and lifestyle. So they grouped and shared resources and information to each other in order to make sure every Chinese could survive in the new environment. Chinese style buildings, Chinese restaurants and Chinese stores showed up at the same area. And it became a place could protect and help Chinese people who live aboard.
