Part Two: Text Automobile Chassis The chassis is the under portion of an automobile. It consists of the transmis- sion system, driving system, steering system and braking system. The chassis has three major functions ： 1）to support and install car body， engine and the other major parts . 2）to receive and transmit engine power. 3）to ensure vehicle normal running. The main components of the chassis are frame, springs, shock absorbers, driving shaft, brakes, tires and wheels and so on . Part Three：Front and Rear Suspension 1. Front suspension 2.
