Coates for Plaintiffs and Respondents. __________________________ A complaint for malicious prosecution and unfair business practices was filed against attorney Glenn Murphy by Roscoe BK Restaurant, Inc. and Dale Ma (collectively, Roscoe BK) for filing allegedly frivolous race and disability discrimination lawsuits against Roscoe BK. Murphy challenges the trial court’s order denying his special motion to strike the complaint under the anti-SLAPP statute. (Code Civ. Proc., §?425.16.) Murphy contends Roscoe BK failed to demonstrate a likelihood of success on the merits. We affirm the order. FACTS Dale Ma is the Director of Operations and a shareholder in Roscoe BK, which operates a Burger King restaurant in Van Nuys.
