School of Civil Engineering of Xi’an University of Architecture Technology, Xi’an 710055, China) Abstract: Nonlinear finite element analysis of six SRC (steel reinforced concrete) beams using the ANSYS computer program were conducted and the mechanical behaviors of these beams were analyzed. A series of numerical simulation technologies such as defining material model of concrete and steel, establishing global finite element model with discrete reinforced bars elements and stirrups elements, and methods of post-processing of analysis results were studied. Attention was especially paid to numerical simulation of bond-slip behavior on interfaces between shaped-steel and concrete.
