T he commuta tion problem is one of the major reasons that there are few practical applications. In this paper, the mechanism involved in the commutation process w as analyzed, and based on tw o line volt age synthesis, several methods for optimizing the commutation process were proposed, inclu ding to change the sw itching sequence, reduce the commutation times and modify the pulse w idth. T he reliability and w aveform quality w ere both enhanced. imulation results demon strate the correctness and availability of the methods.
