In t hi s p ap er , an adap t ed harmonic balance algorit hm i s applied to analyze t he funda ment al resonance of a t ypical ferroresonance circuit . The fundament al resonance region and safet y region of t he cir cuit can be found by u sing t hi s algorit hm . On t he ba se of t he harmonic balance t heory , t he p rop er p aramet er of t he power system can be cho sen and the ferroresonance can be efficiently avoided. It is helpful for the power system design. Key words : ferroresonance ; fundament al resonance ; harmonic balance ; nonlinear circuit 0 　引　言 铁磁谐振是电力系统中经常出现的现象 ,其原 因主要有 :投切主变 、断线等 ,所用对策常为改变系 统参数 、改进设备操作手段 、安装消谐器等 ,系统参 数及消谐元件的参数是其效果的关键 。但铁磁谐振
