Abstract Objective: To investiga te the sho rt- te rm e ects and sa ety o Endostar( recomb inant hum an endosta tin) com b ined w ith p la tinum - based chem otherapy or advanced non- sma ll ce ll lung cancer( N SCLC ) and to com pare w ith p latinum - based chem othe rapy alone. M ethods: T ota l o 60 advanced NSCLC inpa tients w ere se lected and d iv ided into tw o g roup s: 28 patients treated w ith Endostar plu s p latinum - based chem othe rapy and 32 patients treated w ith p latinum - based chem othe rapy alone. A nd the response rate ( RR ) , d isease contro l ra te( DCR ) , qua lity o li e mi provem ent and side reactions w ere evalua ted. Results: Endostar plu s cheotherapy compare to chem otherapy a lone, the RR w ere 2 8. 57% and 2 8. 13% ( 0. 05) ; the DCR w ere 96. 4 3% and 93. 75% ( 0. 05) .
