An O riented Bounding Box m ethod of ca lculation w as analyzed in orde r to achieve desired accuracy and rea l- tmi e prope rty o f co l lision detection in the smi ulation system, and itw as a lso mi proved and optmi ized. A ccurate and rap id co llision detec tion o f the p arts of JQ 900 Ove rhead L aunch ing G antry w ith Low er L aunching N ose w as rea lized u sing mi proved O BB techno logy, and f inally rea listic smi ulation resu lts of the system b ased on VC + + and O pen Inv entor AP I platform w ere obta ined.
