The EA is a three-year contract with an optional 1 or 3 year extension for desktop software with Software Assurance that gives a large discount in return for buying this software for all your desktops. 2. What will it cost and what does it include? The cost depends on the products that you purchase. The “normal” EA Platform enrollment includes Office Professional Plus (MS #269-12441); Windows Vista Business (MS #66J-00579); and Core CAL “Device” (MS #W06-01065) for a total cost of approximately $224.00 per year for 3 years. The products you “Enterprise” on must be purchased for any qualified desktops and laptops used as a primary computer in your organization (see Item #25). 3. What are the system requirements? DOAs self-defined minimum standard desktop is a Pentium D Processor 945, 3.4GHz with 2GB RAM. 4. What is Software Assurance? (SA) SA is a product included with each license you buy under the EA.
