And the other 28 cases w ere given W estern m ed icine only. Then the com parative st dy w as taken between the TCM and WM gro p and theWM gro p. Results Among 28 cases of the TCM andWM gro p, the clin ical c re rate and the total effective rate were 50% and 92. 9% respectively, wh ich w ere better than those that of theWM gro p. Therew as a sign ificant d ifference bewt een wt o gro ps (P 0. 05). Besides, the mi provem ents of ser m m yo cardi menzym e, and electrocardiogram, and left ventric lar f nction in the TCM and WM gro p w ere distinctly better than those of the WM gro p. Conclusion Them ethod of T CM and WM comb ined treating ac te viralm yocard itis is a better therape tics.
