Eg2: Pride goes before a fall. 骄兵必败。 Eg3: 欲速则不达。 Man proposes, God disposes. Eg4: The tongue cuts the throat. 祸从口出。 U10(a): Proverbs Parallel form + Corresponding meaning (形似意合） Eg1: 新官上任三把火。 A new broom sweeps clean. Eg2: Put the cart before the horse. 本末倒置。 Eg3: 水能载舟，亦能覆舟。 The same knife cuts bread and fingers. U10(a): Proverbs Different form + Corresponding meaning （形异意合） Eg1: A horse stumbles that has four legs.
