Methods　 In 1994-1996, 626 Chinese dia- betics w e re inv estiga ted o r thei r diabetic complicatio ns, th e co nt rol o blo od g lucose, lipids and their tr eatments by a multi-disciplinary team w hich included dia betic specialists, oph tha lmo lo gists, neur ol- ogists, neph ro lo gists, dieticians, car diologists, and o ther s.
