Since 80s chromatography and other advanced instrumental analysis had been widely used, which greatly improved the standards of test of pesticide residues in fruit and vegetable. Rapid test of pesticide residues in fruit and vegetables could be divided into 3 classes of biological and chemi- cal detection technology, bio- test technology and analytical chemistry detection techniques. This paper compared these three kinds of methods and gave a brief description of their advantages and disadvantages, practical, and development prospects.
