The fibers w ere degumm ed respectively tom ake them in single- fiber state and then severalm ethods to identify bamboo fiber and other plant fibersw ere analyzed through testing and m easuring their single fiber size and longitudinal and cross - section shape by use of scann ing electron m icroscope and opticalm icroscope. The results show that the fiber w ith egg- shape, large lum en, 3mm in length and w ithout lengthw ise bunch is jute. The cross section of the ram ie is abnorm al ellipse w ith hollow lum en and checking edge. The size of ram ie is 80- 120mm in length.
