This patient population presents particular features and complicated conditions, requiring specific antiviral therapy, therefore, a timely recognition of treatment timing and correct selection of antiviral agents are critical in managing patients with HBV-GN, but there is not a standardized guideline so far. Based on the latest information, this review focuses on the research progress of antiviral therapy of HBV-GN, and the therapeu－ tic efficacy and safety of various antiviral agents, in hope of providing reference for clinical practice.
