Daishan Vocational School Zhej iang Province ，Zhoushan 316200 ，China) Abstract ：The characteristics of large-scale inj ection molding ，precision inj ection molding and thin-wall inj ection molding were analyzed. It was found that due to their different plastic inj ection molding process ，the requests to the mold were also different. While the characteristics and domestic research status of large-scale inj ection molding ，precision inj ection molding and thin-wall inj ection molding were introduced.Pointing out that China has big gap with foreign in the inj ection mold design, manufacturing processes and other aspects.Therefore further innovation is needed.
