Xining Power Supply Company) Abstract: A hybrid online search control strategy is proposed for the efficiency optimization of induction motors based on combining the advantages of loss model method and golden section technique in optimal efficiency control of induction motor. The dq coordinate system of induction motor loss model is given, a new type of hybrid online search control strategies is constructed by combined with golden section online search technique. Firstly, the optimal value of the rotor flux is calculated by using of the motor loss model control method, the optimal value of rotor flux-line obtained by the loss model is used as the midpoint of the search range. Then two segments of both sides of the midpoint are chosen as the search range according to the actual situation of the system. The simulations of golden section method and hybrid online search method are compared. Finally, an experimental system is built based on the digital signal processors for control circuit, simulation and experimental results show that the fluctuation of hybrid online search method in the search process of the rotor flux is significantly smaller, the search time is short and this hybrid online search method can achieve higher accuracy, the system stability and effici
