H ubei T ri Ring Vehicle Axle Co. , Ltd. , Gucheng 44 1 00, China ) A stract: T he bending deformation process for 1 type of coupler yokes w as introduced. The threedimensional coupler yokes bended forging w as made by applying PROE softw are, and the bending deformat ion process for coupler yokes was analyzed by using Deform3D softw are, then the forging process for coupler yokes was optimized. T he result s show that the opt imized forging process for coupler yokes is reasonable, the good deformation of part can be obtained, and thereby indicating FEM analysis is w orth using in forging field.
