Maintenance Manual The function of MM Maintenance Manual was developed to ensure supervisors, crew chiefs and mechanics have the most current technical data to work with. It contains the information necessary to service, troubleshoot, functionally check and repair all installed items and equipment normally requiring service on the flight line or maintenance hangar. The structure of Boeing Maintenance Manual: Introductory material : The title page:标题页 Transmittal letter ：更改单 Temporary revision list：临时更改页清单 Introductory section：介绍部分 Chapter summary ：章节简介 Service bulletin list：服务通告清单 Introductory material : The title page identified the airplane model in airline for which the manual was prepared. The transmittal letter includes a revision list noting the temporary revisions incorporated and indicating where they were filed in the manual. Introductory material : Introductory section explains the manual organization and procedures for located information Chapter summary: The introduction includes the maintenance manual chapter summary, listing the chapters within each functional group and summarizing the information presented. Introductory material : The service bulletin list is at the end of introduction. This list includes the service bulletin number, the chapter affected, incorporation status including start, complete or no effect and the date the revision was placed in the manuals.
