1.BasedonthestudyofEnglishliterature,studentsinAmericanliteratureareledtoknowimportantwritersandtheirworksandcommonliteraryknowledge;

2.Basedonthestudy,studentsattheendofthissemestercouldappreciateandcommentapieceofliteraryworkwiththeirownpointofview.Thiswillalsoformthebasisfortheiracademicwriting.

1.Takenoteinclassandifnecessary,afterclassfromothersources;

2.Readthepartsthattheteacheraskstoreadbeforeclass(usu.theteacherassignsthereadingpartsthreeweeksbeforediscussion);
