Agricultural specialty channels play an important role in information transmission and service in rural areas. However, in the modernization process, agricultural information dissemination faces many challenges, and agricultural specialty channels are therefore faced with a series of problems. Through an analysis of Henan TVs New Countryside channel, the following conclusions were drawn: First, there are problems of stagnation and repetition in program setting and content transmission. Second, in terms of film and television production and media integration, relevant technologies and personnel need to be strengthened and reserves need to be expanded. Finally, in terms of resource allocation and market operation, further optimization is needed. Therefore, the following are suggestions for the future development of the New Countryside channel: First, rationalize the program setting, improve agricultural knowledge and lifestyle programs, and increase audience participation. Second, strengthen technical and talent training in film and television production and media integration, improve production quality and efficiency. Third, strengthen coordination and cooperation in resource allocation and market operation, expand resources and market through multiple channels, and enhance brand influence.
