Since most ships are equipped with only one incinerator, engineers are required to quickly find out the reasons and solutions when the incinerator fails, and take preventive measures in the future operation to reduce the occur­ rence of similar failures. In order to maintain a good working condition of the incinerator, this paper takes the LZIMW-TEAMTEC OG120C incinerator as an example, uses the fault tree analysis method and combines the re­ ality to find out reasonable prevention and treatment methods for the flame fault alarm of the incinerator.
