PAGE PAGE 32 杭州市交通公示语英译翻译失误及其翻译对策研究 摘要：杭州吸引了大量的外国人士来杭州旅游工作和学习。为了方便外国友人的出行，公示语的汉译英变得尤为重要。然而公示语的英译翻译失误现象却很严重，特别是与外国友人出行密切相关的杭州交通领域英译公示语，严重影响了外国友人的出行，不利于杭州市国际大都市形象的提升。为了提升杭州的城市形象，对杭州市交通领域英译公示语翻译失误深入分析从而使公示语翻译得当变得很有必要。本文首先从道路，公交，地铁和火车站等地方收集了杭州市有典型错误的交通领域英译公示语数十条作为语料进行定量统计和定性分析。在大量阅读文献的基础上了解到中文交通公示语语言特点和英语交通公示语语言特点及其异同。以纽马克的交际翻译和语义翻译理论指导公示语的翻译，分析原译文的错误翻译类型和错误原因，借助网上资料和老师帮助将所收集的错误语料试着正确翻译，并试着探索出翻译交通领域公示语的翻译策略，希望对杭州市交通领域的公示语汉译英规范起到一定的作用。 关键词：交通公示语；汉译英；语义交际翻译；错误分析；翻译策略 Study on C-E Translation Errors of Transportation Public Signs in Hangzhou and Translation Strategies Abstract:Hangzhou attracts a number of foreigners to come to China to travel,work and study.The C-E translation of public signs become extremely vital for the convenience of foreigners going out.But the phenomenon of C-E translation errors is serious,extremely the translation of transportation public signs in Hangzhou,which is closely related to foreigners going out.Translation errors have bad effect on the image of international city.In order to improve Hangzhous city image,it became necessary to analyze the C-E translation errors of transportation public signs and make the English version accurate and decent.This paper collected C-E public signs from roads,bus,subway and train station to be authentic corpora which are typical.On the basis of reading lots of literature,learning the features of Chinese and English Transportation public signs and their similarities and differences.Using Newmarks communicative and semantic translations as rules to guide the translation of transportation public signs.Analyzing wrong types and causes of translation, the author finds the relevant information and asks the teacher for the accurate and decent version.Trying to probe into translation strategies of transportation public signs and making effort to the standard of the Hangzhou translation of transportation public signs.
