CAI / CAL vs. CALL Before discussing CALL (computer-assisted language learning), we have first to make a distinction between CAI (computer-assisted instruction) 计算机辅助教学 CAL (computer-assisted learning) 计算机辅助学习 CAI 计算机辅助教学 By COMPUTER-ASSISTED INSTRUCTION, we mean the use of a computer in a teaching program (Richards,1998).
