He’s tall/of medium height/short. What does she look like? She is thin/of medium build/heavy. What does she look like? She has short /long/curly/straight hair. Ability objects: Students can use language goals to describe people’s look. Moral objects: 让学生学会友好,客观的描述人物形象。 Teaching important points: Grasp the new words and target languages. Teaching difficult points: Students can use target languages to describe people’s hair, height and build. A: What does he look like? B: She is of medium build/heavy/fat. 3. New words about height study. (展示关于身高的不同图片,学习新词tall/short/of medium height并板书。用多媒体课件为例做下面的练习。) A: What does he look like? B: He is tall/short/of medium height. Work on book 1a. Step4. Practice Show some pictures to the students and ask them to describe people’s look.
