So two types of shearing force regulations are needed to meet these demands. For the two types of shearing force regulations, one emphasizes the adequacy of the total design shearing force of a whole storey and the other emphasizes the uniformity or proportion of the distribution of the storey total shearing force between columns and shear walls of a storey. In this paper, some able schemes to realize the two types of shearing force regulations are discussed and a new method on how to realize the shearing force regulation corresponding to the item (8.1.4) is proposed.
