II II Abstract This paper mainly studies how the workflow technology improves the bank credit business process. With the research and development at home and abroad summarized about the bank business process reengineering, this paper describes the theory, definition and connotation of BPR, and also introduces the principle, concept, and management system and implementation frameworks of workflow technology. Then we analysises the necessity and urgency of the credit process reengineering on the aspects of the internal and external environment and the demands of the information age. Take the examination and approval process reengineering of the bank credit business process reengineering for example, firstly, this paper introduces the present credit business process redesign and optimization of reconstruction scheme, which take the business process as the core; and then put forward a workflow technology into the banking business process reengineering, establishment a new generation of credit business process logic framework, which could definite, implement and analysis a process. Combine the technology of workflow and the credit business process reengineering; utilize the technology provided by the workflow management systems to separate the business process and concrete operation, modify the process model to change the function in the system, and then complete the part of the whole of the credit business process integration management. Finally, compare the bankcresit business BPR general method with the workflow technology, analysis the improvement on the general BPR method provided by workflow technology, and then expound the advantages and existing problems of BPR in the bank credit business. Finally, put forward the direction of further research and exploration.
