ABSTRACT Gauge block calibration is one of the key parts of length me衍ology. By using gauge block， the length definition can be transferred to mechanical components and products，realizing the length traceability. With the development of technology and economy，the ente叩rises expect more gauge blocks can be calibrated with higher length traceability. 80 developing a calibrating system with high precision ， 、 automation and high efficiency has become an urgent requirement for the industrial application In order to decrease the manual location operation error，a two.dimensional moving plat岛rm driving by stepper motors is used to change the measurement points on the surface of standard or measured gauge blocks. By applying ‘one vs. multiple ， the standard blocks number is decreased greatly ωcut down the calibration cost. Tempera阳re sensors are used to get 由e tempera阳re of gauge blocks in real tíme and compensate the change ofthe gauge blocks length. In order to avoid the errors caused by manual reading and calculating data， measurement so位ware is designedωprocess data and evaluate grade automatically. ηle main research contents include: On the basis of understanding gauge block calibration rules，calibration methods and research ，a gauge block calibration system based oll-pointωpoint is designed. Collecting and processing module is designed based on MCU，which is usedω acquire small signals，measure gauge block tempera阳阳， control the automatic 、币咱 positioning of 阳 two.dimensional moving platform and communicate with the computer. 、 3.ηle acceleration or deceleration algorithm for stepper motor is designed to reduce vibration disturbance during movement and ωimprove the positioning accuracy of the moving platform.
