重庆大学 重庆大学硕士学位论文 英文摘要 PAGE PAGE VI ABSTRACT With the rapid development of modern industry , a large number of organic reagents used in the industrial production procedure and by-products after reaction that cause all kinds of pollution in everyday life. Among them, the most serious water pollution is caused by the printing and dyeing industries. Due to the organic dye in this field has the characteristics of biological toxicity, strong oxidation resistance, complex components, difficult for biodegradation, it not only brings great trouble to the treatment of industrial waste, but also results in the serious pollution to the environment and has caused serious harm to human health. So on how to effectively degrade the organic waste water has become a major problem that faced by the global researchers. Traditional method of sewage treatment has shortcomings like high cost, no sufficient degradation, easy for causing the secondary pollution. The activation energy of photo-catalytic oxidation technology comes from photon energy, which can oxidize organic substances completely into CO2 and H2O, so it has been favored by more and more scientist. So far, the studied photo-catalysts including TiO2、CdS、Fe2O3、WO3、 ZnO、ZnS and SnO2. Among which, CdS and TiO2 are with the strongest catalytic activity. However, CdS itself is unstable under light irradiation and easy for chemical or photochemical corrosion, so little research has put on it. On the contrary, titanium dioxide, because of its advantages like good stability, high catalytic activity, low energy consumption, reusable and so on, it has been considered as the ideal photocatalytic material in managing the environment pollution. However, TiO2 also has unsatisfactory point, which can only absorb ultraviolet light, resulting the low usage of solar energy. Therefore, how to modify TiO2 for improving the visible light use are of important significance to realize the photocatalytic degradation of water pollution. F
