Abstract Family education plays an important role in the tìeld of modem education ，has been caused many peoples concem. And parental company，as an integral part of the family education ，is helpful for the childs physical and mental developmen t. It is very valuable both in theory and practice to research and explore. Based on the previous researches at home and abroad ，the qllestionnaire of parental company status is designed with the research methods of literature analysis and inventory investigation ，and we verified its reliability and validity. Then we investigated the relationship among parental company，the pupils Self-concept and academic achievement by the questionnaire of parental company and the existing Childrens Self二 concept scale. The fol1owing conclusions can be drawn from this study: (1)Pupils parental company comprises raising company，leaming company，enteliainment company and emotional company. The parental company questionnaire designed in this study consists of mother company and father company，and it has been proven to be of tìne reliability and validity and can be used as an eílective tool to measure the pupils parental company status. This study found that there are signitìcant differences between tàther company status and mother company status. 80th the time mother with the children and the level of mother company is higher than fathers. 8esides，the pupils father company exist signi丑cantly differences in .!:，:rr ades and fathers degree of education. The lower grade elementary students get higher level of father leaming company than senior pllpils; And with the fathers educational level increased ，the levels of fathers enteliainment company，rmsmg company and emotional company are also increasing. The pupils mother company exist significantly differences in mothers degree of education ，the mothers educational degree higher，the level which accompanies to childrens entertainment is also higher. The correlation analysis shows
